9 Periodic maintenance ● To ensure you are able to use your watch for a long time, we recommend diligent care and periodic maintenance once every 2 or 3 years. Note: The watch directly contacts with the skin. It is easy for the watch to contact with sweat, stains, detergent, and water. Make sure to keep the watch clean at all times to avoid the strained watch causing skin trouble. Even if the watch has a diver specification, do not take a bath while wearing it Make sure to take off the watch before taking a bath. Also, using shampoo or soap accelerates deterioration of gasket. Be careful about water entering the watch inside from the crown Keep the crown pushed in at all the time (in the normal position) while using the watch. Do not operate the buttons and crown when the watch is under water or being worn in wet conditions. Notes on daily use ● Gaskets are vulnerable to organic solvents and chemicals, thus be sure to keep the watch away from them (shampoo, soap, cosmetics, etc.). ● If the watch contacts with seawater, clean well with fresh water. ● There is some humidity inside the watch thus when the outside temperature is lower than inside the watch, the inside of the glass may fog up temporarily. This is not a failure. But if it keeps fogging and doesn’t clean up or water gets inside the watch, repair is required.
